How do we take part in World Class Tests?

First of all you should contact your child's school to find out if it is entering any students for World Class Tests. If it is, the school can enter your child. If not, or if your child is educated at home, contact us at information@gl-assessment.co.uk or phone 0845 602 1937 for a list of your nearest registered World Class Test schools or test centres. You can then contact them directly and they will enter your child. World Class Tests can only be taken at a centre registered with GL Assessment.

You will receive details from the school or test centre telling you the dates and times of the test your child is taking, and any other relevant information. They will also send your child's certificate once the results are through.

Please note that there may be an extra charge of £4.50 for taking the tests anywhere other than your child's own school.

If your child has already taken a World Class Test, they can take another test for their age group later in the same year, in either subject, as the tests in each sitting are different. A nine year-old could also take a 13 year-old test later in their school career when they are ready.

World Class Arena is an international initiative and students from anywhere in the world can take part. At the moment the tests are available in English and Chinese only. If students do not understand a word or phrase the invigilator at the test sitting can translate it for them.
